Lake MacBride, Iowa

Lake MacBride was a pretty cool place. Much more woodsy than Lake Harrison was, it felt more like camping. After we set up the tent we decided to go swimming. The lake was bit of a walk from the campsite, but once we got there it was really nice. It was clean and not too crowded, and the water was like the perfect temperature. We swam for a little while and then headed back to make dinner (black bean burgers an Spanish rice - so delish).



I made a sikk fire, we sat around for a little while, and then went to bed while watching anchorman. It was a good campsite, my only complaint was that there were way too many creepy spiders in the bathroom.
